Head on over to
Addicted to Stamps and Scraps and check out Theresa's latest
Weekly Challenge - she wants to see your favorite "go to" layout that you use over and over again. Here's mine...it usually has a strip of
DSP, ribbon, a stamped image "popped up" with
dimensionals, and a sentiment. I also tend to do a lot of embossing (as a VERY new stamper, it's about as difficult a technique as I'm willing to tackle right now!!). The great thing about this layout is that by changing the
DSP and color combo, you have a completely different card. I'll try to do another card using the same layout later tonight so you can see how simple it is to make a completely different card using the same sketch.

I used Real Red textured CS as the base with a great piece of
DSP from American Crafts. The image is from the Bitty Birthday set - stamped with
Stazon and colored in with
Stampin' Write markers. The sentiment is from the A Little Birthday Cheer set - stamped with
versamark ink and embossed with white powder (yes, I know...again). Finally, a simple strip of Old Olive wide grosgrain with a knot and it's done! This is such a simple layout, I'm sure I'm not the first person to use it...but I don't think I directly
CASE'd it from anyone. If I did I certainly don't remember (sorry!).
