And on a personal note, my little man Dean started his first day of Preschool today. It was bittersweet for me - I was so proud of him - he did so well, no separation anxiety at all (in fact when I was lingering trying to take some pics he pushed me toward the gate, waved and said "bye Mom" then ran off to play), but my baby isn't a baby anymore!!! Here are a few pics of him just before we left the house with his new backpack (which he calls a Rescue Pack - thank you Diego - and refuses to actually wear on his back!) and lunch box - making a weird face and then in the 2nd pic giving me what I get when I ask for a smile and the 3rd pic ready to go, headed for the car!

That "thanks" sentiment is great. I haven't seen one like that before! And your little man is adorable. I'm so glad he liked his first day of preschool. And that picture showing your hawaiian neighborhood makes me kinda miss the islands!

Hey! I noticed, still no shoes. It's a good thing Dean goes to school in the "country". I think over here, they would make him wear something on his feet. He looks so cute. What did YOU do on his first day of school?

I love Dean's pictures! I get that type of "smile" too when I ask Kalino to give the camera a smile.
Congrats on all the money raised for SOA! I contributed, but wasn't able to participate in any of the challenges.
OMG Jen, how cute are those pictures! I hope it went well, my little ones start preschool in September, I can't believe it.
Looks like he is running away from home!!! Two big bags like that, the boy must eat alot!! LOL Oh I remember those days and now I can't pack a big lunch anymore or even do it, she wants to do it herself! Who knows what goes in there!!! Great card love!
