PCP Sketch Challenge 2-28-09

Each week one of the Papercraft Planet Super Novas hosts the PCP Sketch Challenge and this is supposed to be my week. I've had my card done for awhile now, but as most of you know I've recently taken on the task of heading up the weekly PCP "Scrappy Sunday" Scrapbook Sketch Challenge. This, combined with LOTS of other exciting things coming up in the next few weeks (a HUGE Verve Release, a few hybrid projects for an online publication from Sweet Shoppe Designs, contributing to the brand new "Hybrid Chick" blog (coming soon), etc etc etc has made my life a bit hectic this week!!) Kim graciously offered to step in this weekend and take over hosting the card sketch challenge for me!! Thanks Kim! :-) Kim "drew" the sketch based on my sample card and will be taking care of the administrative tasks associated with hosting a sketch challenge....She seriously ROCKS!!

Anyway, you can see Kim's sketch and all the challenge details here in the Forums on PCP. Here's a quick look at my sample card:Stamps: A Little Birthday Cheer (SU)
Paper: Kraft CS (SU); printed digi paper from In the Air Tonight by Traci Reed (Sweet Shoppe)
Ink: Versamark, embossed with white powder
Accessories: Chipboard "4" (SU); buttons (Basic Grey); hemp twine.

If you'd like to play along, just check out the sketch here on PCP and upload your card to the PCP gallery with the tag sk022809 and that's it!! I'd love to see what you create, so if you have a chance, link me up to your card here too so I can be sure I don't miss it!!

Have a great weekend!!

What a fun card, I would never have thought that the combo would go together so nicely. I'm not very good at that but you rocked it.... Thanks for the reminder on Verve
