Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop

It's time for another fabulous Blast from the Past Blog Hop with Taylored Expressions and friends! I can't tell you how much I've thoroughly enjoyed playing along with these Blog Hops each month and checking out everyone's creations!!

My sweet and amazingly talented friend Sankari designed a super fun sketch for the hoppers to play with this month and {gasp!} I actually used it!! LOL. Take a look at the sketch:

And with that sketch, I decided to play with one of my favorite TE sets, The Places You'll Go to create this colorful card for my son Dean:

I colored the image with Copics to match the DP. And isn't that fun DP? It's from the Garden Variety Project Pantry Kit (as is the ric-rac and red textured CS). I don't think I'm breaking any Blast from the Past rules by using current Project Pantry Kits! I just love how versatile those kits can be, even the ones that seem really "theme"-y, can actually be used for everyday projects too as you can see! I added a couple of matchy-match buttons from SU and Basic Grey and I was done! Cute, yeah? My son's SUPER into space right now, so he's going to LOVE this card!!

Now, be sure to stop by all the other Hoppers' blogs to see what they've created this month. There's some amazing talent on that list so you're sure to find some inspiration!!
