Kristina Werner Color Inspiration #8

Wow! I'm barely getting this in before the deadline tonight for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge. Here's the inspiration photo....Translates into SU!'s colors Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie and Brilliant Blue.
I've been making birthday invites like crazy the past few days using these colors, so I wasn't feeling too motivated to use them more. BUT, I do love these colors!!! I made 2 very simple cards. Here they are. I used Brilliant Blue textured CS for the card base for both cards as well as a sticker strip from the Summer Days Simply Scrappin' kit.

For the first card, I added a piece of Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon and stamped the sentiment (from Short & Sweet) with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I used Whisper White Craft ink to cover the front of a heart chipboard piece from OnBoard Simon Upper. I then sprinkled on some Heat & Stick powder, heated it to sticky and then sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

For the second card, I used a couple of my Die Cut Blooms and added some white rub-ons from A Perfect Day - that's it!! Sooooo simple!!

Beautiful Jennifer! The white looks so good on the brillant blue. Oh, I'm jealous that you live in Maui...was there 10 years ago on my honeymoon and i didn't want to leave!
