College Gift Set

One of our neighbors has a daughter who is leaving for college on the mainland in a few weeks. She is such a sweet girl and I wanted to do something special for her to wish her well on her new journey. I made this cute little gift set tin thing with some simple notecards, bookmark paperclip thing, covered post-it notes and a matching tin...
I used a Maya Road Tea Break tin covered with some great American Crafts paper that matched perfectly with some Soft Sky cardstock and River Rock ribbon. The other ribbon on the tin handle is from American Crafts. Are you getting tired of my go-to Verve card yet?? I love ALL of my Verve sentiments, but this "Just a Note" from Asian Flair has quickly become one of my most overused stamps!!! It just makes such a cute, quick, simple card!!
Here's a detail shot of the covered post-it notes, pen and bookmark clip. I got the giant paper clips at OfficeMax. The stamped image on the clip is from the new SU set Wow Flowers. The sentiment on the post-it notes is from another great Verve set, Starlight Starbright, stamped on River Rock CS and punched with a SU small oval punch.
I have several things I'll be posting today, including some peeks at how I've organized my new crafty space and several of my cards for Verve's "Anni-Verve-sary" sketch challenge going on over on the Verve Forum at Splitcoast. I tried to change my feedblitz settings to only send one e-mail at the end of the day, but I don't think I figured it out. So my apologies if you're a subscriber - you will probably get several notices in your inbox today and tomorrow. Sorry!!!
