I FINALLY found some time to be creative this morning. I've been working on some birthday invites, thank-yous and favors for a friend so I thought I'd share the project with you all. But first, I want to say "Aloha" to my new friend, Denise, and thank her so much for bringing me some Archiver's goodies!!! Denise is one of my blog readers and she was recently on Maui celebrating her 20th wedding anniversary with her husband. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend as much time as I'd like with her, but she seems like lots of fun and she assures me they won't wait 20 years to visit again!!! Soooo...thank you Denise and Congrats on 20 years!!!!! And if anyone else out there is ever on Maui, please let me know...I'd love to get together!
Ok, on to the project...
I created these custom birthday invites with matching thank you notes, a kool-air holder water bottle hangie thing, and treat bags. The color scheme is Kraft, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Real Red and Whisper White. I used my star punches, some American Crafts ribbon, red brads, and a Verve stamp from
Filagree Fantasy. Because I didn't have permission to post my friend's kid's name and all, I used mine and my son's names for the invite pictured...
And lastly, I just had to share this picture of my adorable (but naughty) 19-month-old son, Dean. He LOVES hanging out in my crafty space, making a mess. He was having so much fun playing with my wheels and ribbon scraps that I couldn't resist snapping a pic!!!
Also....I've noticed my blog counter is nearing the 10,000 mark (I can't believe it!!!). To celebrate, I'll be giving away some yummy blog candy once I hit the milestone, so keep your eyes open!!! :-)
